Princeton Arts Fellowship

Princeton Arts Fellows spend two consecutive academic years (September 1-July 1) at Princeton University and formal teaching is expected. The normal work assignment will be to teach one course each semester subject to approval by the Dean of the Faculty, but fellows may be asked to take on an artistic assignment in lieu of a class, such as directing a play or creating a dance with students.

Horticulture Playwrights Workshop 2023-24 Cohort

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Seeking two playwrights with an as-yet unwritten idea for a full-length play. No experience needed. Selected playwrights receive a stipend ($2,000) along with feedback, hands-on support, and readings of their work.

Each cohort is made up of two playwrights, a dramaturg, and two directors connected with each playwright for the duration of the Workshop. The year-long program of meetings and readings sets manageable deadlines and creates ample room for a long iterative creative process.
