At the PWC this week: Katie Bender

Jerome Fellow Katie Bender is at the Playwrights' Center this week, workshopping The Survivors with director Jeremy B. Cohen** and actors Sandra Struthers*, Gabriel Murphy, Christina Baldwin*, James Craven*, Tony Sarnicki, James Rodriguez, Billy Mullaney, and Am'Ber Montgomery (*Member of Actors' Equity Association; **Member of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society). Based on the siege and battle of the old mission Alamo, this play follows the women, children, and slave people who survived the battle and made their lives in the shifting borders of the fledgling Mexican and United States governments.
