The Lark’s Jerome New York Fellowship provides substantial artistic and financial support to an emerging writer of extraordinary promise and vision through an intensive two-year residency that provides resources and guidance to generate and develop a significant body of work.

Woolly Mammoth Submissions for DC Playwrights

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company does not accept unsolicited scripts. However, in an effort to support the Washington, DC artistic community, we do accept unsolicited ten-page samples exclusively from writers living in the DC area. Before submitting material, we strongly encourage you to read our mission statement, research our production history, and/or see a production here in order to acquire a sense of Woolly Mammoth’s interests and aesthetic. To be considered, please send a letter of inquiry, a synopsis of your play, and a ten-page sample.

Loud and Proud

The Village Playwrights announce a call for submissions for Loud and Proud,  staged readings of 10 minute plays to celebrate Gay Pride on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 8 to 10 pm at the LGBT Community Center.

The 1st New York International FRIDGE Festival will take place from Aug 31 – September 10th, at IRT Theatre (154 Christopher St. 3B) in the charming West Village neighborhood in NYC. 

Curated and Produced by The Arctic Group, Fridge Fest will premiere New Works by playwrights including Matthew Minnicino, Daniel Talbott, Celine Song, and hopefully YOU!

Submissions open on APRIL 3, 2017. Deadline is JUNE 1, 2017 midnight EST.

The Halcyon Arts Lab Fellowship is a nine-month program established to provide emerging artists with time and space to explore new ideas and ambitious projects in an environment of independent learning, study, and collaboration. The fellowship is designed to provide support and resources to emerging artists who desire to develop projects that promote social impact, and for those who want to grow as leaders in the field of socially-engaged art.

Halcyon Arts Lab accepts six national or international fellows and two DC-resident fellows in each year of the program.
