C. Denby Swanson
C. Denby Swanson is a graduate of Smith College, the National Theater Institute, and the Michener Center for Writers at UT-Austin. She is a former Jerome Fellow, McKnight Fellowship in Playwriting recipient, William Inge Center Playwright-in-Residence, and Core Writer at the Playwrights’ Center, and participated in the NEA/TCG National Theater Residency Program for Playwrights. Her play The Norwegians, about super nice Minnesota hit men, was described in the NY Times as a “killer comedy,” and is published by Dramatists Play Service. Her other work is published by Playscripts, Smith & Kraus, and Heineman. She teaches at Southwestern University, in Georgetown TX.
