Plays
Professor Anabelle Katz-Carver, the greatest primatologist since Jane Goodall, runs her elite research lab as a strict matriarchy. After grooming potential successors for decades, she's finally ready to choose an heir — but in the animal kingdom and in our own, how does a queen pass the crown on to another queen? LEMURIA is an inheritance drama about dominance, queer Southern scientists, academic lineage, sex, and — yes — lemurs.
** Developed through the '20-'21 EST/Alfred P. Sloan Science & Technology Project commissioning program
Isa is finally bringing her girlfriend home for a Mississippi Thanksgiving, and she absolutely did not expect their biggest problem to be fast food chicken. Also, who's that passed out in the back seat? In uncompromising times, CLUCK DELUXE questions how, and how much, we can disagree with those we love most.
** Winner, Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival '19
