Jasmine Johnson

Jasmine is the General Manager of The Playwrights' Center and comes off the heels of working with Children's Theatre Company as the former Associate Production Manager. As a recent transplant to the Twin Cities she is overjoyed to find such a warm, creative and artistic community here. Jasmine received her BFA from New York University and throughout her career has worked on a variety of projects in multiple cities throughout the U.S. With over fourteen years of operations, production and program management experience, her projects range from large scale theatre productions, nonprofit alumni programs, and high-profile private events to large and small scale concerts, outdoor movie festivals, immersive dance performances, visual art, television & award shows, and marketing and promotional events. Basically, not too many things surprise her at this point! This wide range of experience allows her to provide operations and programming expertise to help support and develop organizational goals, effectively manage staff and consultants, and to collaborate well with executive teams and diverse colleagues. Organizations she's worked with include Arts Brookfield, AMCI Marketing Company, The Broad Center, Rooftop Films and MTV2. Jasmine is thrilled to now be a resident of the Twin Cities and a member of The Playwrights' Center leadership team.
