Biography

A veteran of forty years in the theatre, Tony is a playwright, actor and director.
His original screenplay, The Christmas Ship won first prize in the 2003 Washington State Screenplay Contest.
His play, Loyalties, received readings for Ensemble Studio Theatre’s Winterfest and First Look Series; was one of four winners of the 2008 Ashland New Play Festival; and was subsequently produced in an acclaimed production, which ran for over four months in 2010, at the Pacific Resident Theatre in Los Angeles.
Tony’s play Birdbrain received a workshop production in March of 2011 at the Pacific Resident Theatre; and was a semifinalist for both the Writer’s Digest Playwriting Contest, and the O’Neill 2011 National Playwrights Conference, and is currently optioned by the Rogue Machine Theatre for their 2014 season.
His play, The Idyllic World of Lillian Cortessi, was work-shopped in August of 2012 at the Pacific Resident Theatre. And his short play, Reaching Out to the Dark, was one of the winners of the
