Shalee's multimedia aesthetic is poetic as she blends movement, dance, scene-work, and sometimes projections cohesively across many different genres. She believes in the power of metaphor to reveal secrets to those ready to decode them. She believes in the power of the body to communicate beyond words. Her rehearsal rooms are curious, caring, and full of spark.

Shalee has previously worked with 20% Theatre Company, Freshwater Theatre, Gadfly, Walking Shadow Theatre Company, Theatre Unbound, Uprising Theatre Company and has self-produced work under Play-dot Productions. Her writing has been produced by Hedge Theatre Company, Somerville Productions, and as a part of the 7th Annual Right Here Showcase. She is an alumnus of Hamline University, the National Theater Institute, and Directors Lab West. During the daytime, Shalee works in University Programs and Partnerships at Playwrights' Center."
