
Lowe was Artist in Residence at Sundance Theatre Lab with her play The Greatest. She is currently at work on Moses which will be developed summer 2020 at Cape Cod Theatre Project and the musical Split with Zoe Sarnak for Transport Group. She's the recipient of the Francesca Primus Prize and was a finalist for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize. Lowe was the first playwright in the history of the Steinberg/American Theater Critics Association New Play Award to be a finalist for two plays in one season. Plays include The Smell of the Kill (Broadway debut), Inana, String of Pearls (Outer Critics nomination best play) Map of Heaven, Mezzulah, 1946 and Backsliding in the Promised Land.
