Lowe was Artist in Residence at the 2017 Sundance Theatre Lab with her play The Greatest. She's the recipient of the Francesca Primus Prize and a finalist for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize. Lowe was the first playwright in the history of the Steinberg/American Theater Critics Association New Play Award to be nominated for two plays in one season. Plays include The Smell of the Kill (Broadway debut), Inana, String of Pearls (Outer Critics nomination best play) Map of Heaven, Mezzulah, 1946 and Backsliding in the Promised Land. She is currently at work on The Proxy Marriage with Adam Gwon and an untitled commission for the Transport Group with Zoe Sarnak. Samuel French and Dramatic Publishing publish her work.
