TOYMANIA  is a modern day, musical about Jack-in-the-Box, a smarty-pants, quick-witted leader of four animated toys, who is fed up with going on their nightly adventures.  Jack wants to stay in his box and be left alone.  He's tired of Teddy's constant story-stretching, Dolly's "princess" attitude about life, as well as her muscle-bound romantic sidekick, Rob's charming and over-polished demeanor.

The toys go through a transformation process when they realize the only way to overcome life-threatening obstacles, such as a crocodile who likes to eat toys, a python who enjoys squeezing the life out of toys, and a rose who wraps his body tightly around toys is to join together in spite of their differences to overcome the monsters.

The second transformation occurs with their enemies, the toy-devouring monsters.  When the toys surround the monsters and sing a very special song, "Toys United", the energy in this song turns the monsters' anger towards the toys into peace and friendship.  This change affects Dolly as well, who invites Croc, one of the enemies, to join the toys in the rest of the night's adventures.
