Michael Greenspun
"he, him, his"
Sherman Oaks, CA
Michael Greenspun is a playwright, librettist, and lyricist, whose plays and musicals have been produced on New York and Los Angeles stages.
Biography

Beginnings: From a high school class in the park where men were drinking whiskey out of barely concealed paper bags, I imagined these men's stories and wrote my first play.

Theatre is kinetic, three-dimensional, live, and unique (what other art form can present the same play, in different locations, casts, on the same date, and transform audiences anywhere worldwide?). Count me in. I desire my work to entertain, provoke thought, and help better the world. One word to describe my approach: Empath. Deeply connecting with the characters, even strongly damaged ones, in their journeys to try to fulfill their wants and to be changed at the end.
