EKPHRASIS ( Eck- fray- sis) is a definitely eccentric perspective on the world of Art. It’s 18 pieces altogether, some serious, some not, each on a different work of art, and each from a different perspective. They include why Sir Henry Raeburn painted a horse backwards, what it’s like to paint water, Forgery, Song Dong’s Mother’s house spread out on the floor of MOMA , Georgia O’Keeffe, Richard Serra, etc.
