Biography

Kristine Mietzner’s short comedy “Reservations” premiered at the 2020 Winters Community Theater’s 10-Minute Play Festival. Two other theaters have selected “Reservations” for future productions, First Company Players of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and the Ghostlightte Theatre Ensemble of Brentwood, California.  The play won an honorable mention award in the 2020 Avalonia 7 Theater Festival.

Her prose appears in the anthologies 166 Palms and Something That Matters, Life, Love, and Adventures in the Middle of the Journey, the websites Your Life is a Trip, Litro New York, and elsewhere. 

Kristine studied creative writing in the Stanford University Continuing Studies Novel Writing Certificate Program. Her forthcoming novel Matisse in Winter was a finalist in the San Francisco Writers Conference Writing Contest.

"Reservations" will be produced by the Ghost Light Ensemble as part of its Festival 10 2.0 on dates to be scheduled in 2021.
