Kacie Devaney is the founder of Kreation, a theatre and film company based in Paris, NYC, and LA. A writer and multi-disciplinary artist with a passion for travel, Kacie’s Kreations aim to inspire, expose, make you question, think and feel. Her works champion women’s stories and the forgotten stories of all those who have impacted our world in a positive way and fought for equality and change. Her tv shows and films range from historical dramas to modern comedies and sci-fi. Her plays tackle the absurd, drama, comedy, and are all inclusive of her original choreography and music. Ms. Devaney’s Kreations have been featured in illustrious theatres, dance studios and festivals in NYC including, The HERE arts center, The International Fringe Festival, The Downtown Urban Arts Festival, The Mark Morris Dance Center, Jennifer Muller’s The Works, Elisa Monte’s Symposium for Choreographers, The Robert Moss Theatre, Gibney Dance, The Producers Club, The Tada Theatre, and the Barrow Group, (to name a few). Her plays and dances have been nominated for (Best Production,) (Best Story and Writing,) & (Best Choreography). She works closely with prominent industry in TV, film, and theatre, in Paris, New York City and Hollywood. In Paris, Kacie taught acting for the camera at the highly respected, Bilingual Acting Workshop founded by long time industry activist for the arts, Amy Werba. Kacie also offered and continues to offer one on one acting coaching and consultation to French artists looking to break into the New York City and LA scene, along with acting and movement classes to businesses, Universities and dance studios. Two years ago, she turned her play, The Great Forgotten into a tv series and the script is currently under option with Harbor Wall Productions. Kacie lived, worked, and created in New York City and Paris for the past decade. She recently moved to Los Angeles. Since landing in LA, she was commissioned by Theatre Raymond Kabbaz in Century City to write, perform, dance and act in the original play, Stories from Père Lachaise.
