Jessica Phillips Lorenz is a writer, performer, and cancer-mom. She has performed her original solo shows throughout New York City including Drawn--about her family connection to cartoon icon Betty Boop. Her work has appeared in Insider, Romper, Real Simple, Parents.com, MUTHA Magazine (Pushcart nominee), and a theatre festival for babies in Northern Ireland. Jess was recently awarded a writers’ fellowship at the Ragdale Foundation in Lake Forest, IL. Her play, BEST PARTY EVER! was selected for Piper Theatre's Spotlight Series and had a workshop production in Brooklyn in 2023. Jess is a member of the Coalition Against Childhood Cancer, Momcology, and Emerging Artists Theatre. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, two children and pet snail.
