Born in Beirut in 1982, Ismail Khalidi is a Palestinian American playwright, poet, and performer. His plays include Truth Serum Blues (Pangea World Theater, '05), Foot, Final Status, Tennis in Nablus (Alliance Theater, ’10), Sabra Falling and a co-adaptation of Returning to Haifa. He is the co-editor of Inside/Outside: Six Plays from Palestine and the Diaspora (TCG, 2015) and his writing has been published in Mizna, Guernica, The Nation, American Theatre, the Daily Beast, Words Without Borders and ReMezcla. Khalidi received his MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
