Erik is an Actor, Writer, and Director. Currently, he is teaching at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Prior to teaching at Drake, he taught at Johnson County Community College in Kansas City where his play, THE KITTEN'S CRY, was produced in December of 2021. Most recently, his play AFTER EVER HAPPILY produced in the fall of 2023. He was a Gary Garrison Ten-Minute Play Finalist in 2015 for his play FISHBOWL. Other works include FASTBALL, WILD HORSES, OH ANGELA, SLAPSHOT, WAITING FOR SNOW, SAY SOMETHING, and others. Erik received his B.F.A in Acting from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and his M.F.A in Acting from Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory For Actor Training.
