Ellen Abrams’ play, Mr. Lincoln Goes East (co-written with Kevin Baker) had a reading at Off-Broadway theatre Urban Stages (NYC) in September 2023 and April 2024. Her short play Closing Time was part of both the Santa Cruz Actors Theatre’s 8 Tens @ 8 Short Play Festival and JIB Productions’ “Play with Your Food” series in 2025 and 2024. Her short play The Walls Have Ears was part of an evening of short plays at AMT, an off-Broadway theatre in NYC in 2024. Her play Mediation Or the Bonapartes Call it Quits was produced by Eden Prairie Players in 2024. On the Greene at Runnymede: A Magna Carta Rap in the Year of Our Lord 1215 started airing on Premiere the Play Podcast in August 2023. Her short plays Lizzie Borden Gets Engaged and Liars Anonymous were produced by Barrington Stage’s 10x10 Festival. Her full-length work, Intentions, was a semi-finalist at the O’Neill Theatre Festival.
