Colby A. Poston is a playwright from Florence, South Carolina. He currently studies playwriting at Colorado College. Poston started his career as a playwright in high school while writing his debut piece She’s Got a Gun which made its world premier at the Taylor Theatre at Colorado College in 2019. He has written several other pieces with productions pending. Many of those exploring themes of mental illness, addiction, intrinsic morality, and religion. He believes that everybody has a story to tell no matter how “average” the person; tends to write his stories about ordinary people living extraordinary lives. He operates his artistic belief to create hyper-realistic interactions that attempt to make everyone feel a little less isolated.
