Bob has written across many disciplines, including music, poetry, short story, novel, and journalism. For the last 20 years, however, he has concentrated on stage plays and screenplays, where he has found his greatest success. He graduated from the University of Delaware in 1991 with a BA in Journalism, then went on to take certificates in Screenwriting and Playwriting from Gotham Writers in New York, and finally a PPMFA in Screenwriting from UCLA in 2006. His last 5 stageplays received their World Premieres on the professional stage of the Red Barn Theatre in Key West, where he is currently Resident Playwright. One of his stageplays -- Person of Interest -- was translated into Flemish and produced at Theatr Hoger Streven in Ghent, Belgium. His play, Life and Death, was chosen for the 2016 Broadway Black List -- The Ten Best Unproduced Plays of the Year by Tony Award Winning Ken Davenport, of New York's Davenport Theatrical Enterprises. Bob has also optioned 3 original feature-length screenplays to Hollywood studios, all of which are currently in development. His latest play, Crossing the Veil, is being workshopped for future production in the 2020-21 season. Bob lives, writes, produces, and directs in Key West, Florida.
