Fred, a recently retired and widowed Vietnam veteran finds himself thinking a lot about his long ago experiences. Hoa, the owner of a Vietnamese salon, is also thinking a lot about Vietnam and wondering if her family will ever join her in the US. Donna, Fred's daughter, is unsettle by Fred's frequent visits to the nail salon. What's going on with these three characters who are tied by that faraway country and long ago experiences. Can they ever get unstuck?
