Abi's plays include Arctic Hysteria, Foreign C., Voices Underwater, fEaR oF a FüHrEr, and PRESERVATION. Her work has been produced in the U.S and internationally by companies and festivals such as Synchronicity, the Ontological-Hysteric Incubator, Fusebox, Salvage Vanguard, Playwrights Foundation, Theaterhaus Hildesheim, and the Estonian Ballet.  She received two Jerome Fellowships, a Fulbright, and a Humboldt Fellowship, and holds a BA from Brown and a Playwriting MFA from UT Austin. She taught at Universität Hildesheim, Bennington College, and the Iowa Playwrights Workshop. Abi is the director of Kinderdeutsch Projekts, the German/American movement theater company that collaboratively generates works based on her scripts.
