Faith

After years of taking care of her emotionally abusive mother, Faith expects her mother’s death to offer release and a new sense of freedom. Instead, it sends her into a spiral of loneliness, long drives, and a search for fulfillment in fast food. Then Theo arrives. Quiet, thoughtful, with an unmaskable hunger that is at once attractive and intimidating, Theo and Faith find in each other hope that their wounds can be staunched. But the disappearance of a young girl causes Faith to question whether the life she has built with Theo is real and what she’ll do to protect it. Conjuring and reliving memories of the past three years, Faith sits alone on a small town playground trying to find answers to questions she never wanted to have to ask.
