"Elegant Carnage" found in Dirty Girls Come Clean: the Anthology

It has been said the "cleanliness is next to Godliness," but when a mere mortal tries to touch the face of God by way of her bathtub, the universe's wrath is unleashed upon her.  Set against the squeaky clean backdrop of the 1950's and 60's ideals of what a woman's role is in the home, "Elegant Carnage" supposes what might ensue should this concept be taken literally.
