Leaving the home of their dysfunctional family, two teenage sisters, approach jobs at a downtown dance club for shelter and money. Amber is fourteen and Serene in sixteen and pregnant. Life at the club soon turns from waitressing and dancing to servicing the male clients. A social worker notices the underage predicament and its brutal consequences, and provides counsel and relief.
