Theatre often leaves room for audience imagination in a way that film and TV don't. This makes it particularly fertile ground for the inclusion of metaphor. In this seminar with Philana Omorotionmwan (18-19 Jerome Fellow), we'll explore how extended metaphor(s) (that compare characters and/or entire worlds) can contribute to the theatricality of your play and how to find the metaphor(s) that best serves your characters and story.
