Synopsis: American Realism is part modern-day Western and part Cain and Abel story set in the Mojave Desert against the backdrop of the California drought crisis. It combines the American mythology of the West and looks at the theme of thirst in a variety of ways including life, love, land, God, knowledge, and justice.
