Biography

Orlando is a two-time Jerome fellow and McKnight Fellow, founding producer at Workhaus Collective. Current Commissions: screenplay version of his Danny Casolaro Died for You (Caliber Media/Aviation Films), adaptation of Don DeLillo’s Hammer & Sickle (Arts Emerson, Boston), Untitled New Play (Guthrie Theater, Minneapolis). Co-creator of Fissures (Lost & Found) commissioned by Actors Theatre of Louisville, premiered at the 2010 Humana Festival. NYC: worked with HERE Arts Center (multi-year), New York Theatre Workshop, The Lark, NYC Fringe (multi-year), and The Samuel Beckett on Theatre Row (among others). Danny Casolaro Died for You will have its Midwest premiere at TimeLine Theater in Chicago this Fall.
