Biography

Lowe's play Moses premiered at Theater J in Washington, DC during the theater's 2023-2024 season. Moses was developed by Cape Cod Theatre Project. She is currently at work on the musical Split with composer Zoe Sarnak for Transport Group. Lowe is the recipient of the Francesca Primus Prize and was a finalist for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize. She is the only playwright in the history of the Steinberg/American Theater Critics Association New Play Award to be a finalist for two plays in one season. Plays include The Smell of the Kill (Broadway debut), Inana, String of Pearls (Outer Critics nomination best play) Map of Heaven, Mezzulah, 1946 and Backsliding in the Promised Land. Successes

My play MOSES premiered at Theater J in Washington, DC in December, 2023. It was directed by Johanna Gruenhut and starred Grand Harrison. 

The Cape Cod Theatre Project chose my newest play MOSES to develop during summer 2020. Readings will be live streamed on July 3 and July 5. MOSES stars Andrew Polk. Daniella Topol directs.
