I will be starting my senior year of college in the fall. My first play will be staged in November.
Biography

I turned 50 a month after my mom passed away from stage 4 pancreatic cancer (2 days before St. Patrick's Day) and decided to rub it in by returning to school after a 30 year absence (mid-life crisis beckons). A play I wrote for a creative writing class won an award and will be staged in November 2019. Pursuing an MFA in playwriting, screenwriting or creative writing is in my future plans.

A group of people experiencing homelessness during the Christmas holidays in Sacramento find comfort in each other and conflict with outsiders in the ever-changing and uncertain times that they live in. Two policemen from different backgrounds struggle to find commonality in their relationships with the people who populate the streets they patrol and with each other. A cancer patient and his nurse share tall tales and beat the drum of time to drown out the song of cancer. A young man struggling with demons seeks redemption in the arms of forgiveness. And all before Santa’s sleigh touches down on its first roof. Merry Christmas!
