Susan Westfall is a South Florida based playwright,and a founding Producing Artistic Director for City Theatre and the Summer Shorts festivals. Many of her short plays premiere at the annual Summer Shorts festivals of new plays. Three of her shorts are also ATL Heideman Finalists. Her most recent full-length, The Boy From Russia, was produced at the Actors Playhouse in Miami, and was later workshopped at the PWC. Susan also co-founded the South Florida Theatre League, has taught playwriting at the New World School of the Arts in Miami, and mentored many young playwrights through City Theatre programming for young artists. She has recently returned from a professional sabbatical to assume the position of Literary Director at City Theatre. Susan is a member of the Dramatists Guild, and lives with her family on the beautiful island of Key Biscayne.
