Applications open for the Dramatic Writing MFA at Carnegie Mellon

The most important part of your application, by far, is your work sample: one full-length play or screenplay. We have wide-ranging taste, so send the work that best reflects the current state of your writing — whatever best represents the artistic trajectory you feel you are on. In addition to the work sample, we require three letters of recommendation, a 150-word bio, a statement of intent, and official transcripts from any previous institutions where you have taken a degree.
