Gregory Collins joined the Playwrights’ Center in 2018 as Director of Marketing and Communications. He is responsible for all strategic communications initiatives, press relations, and community and industry outreach. His communications experience has led him to a number of literary, philanthropic, environmental, and municipal organizations. He has created programming with the National Book Foundation, PEN America, the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, and The New York City Economic Development Corporation. He has taught multimedia workshops at The New School and has been a contributing writer for Out Magazine, Nancy, and Drift Index. He is a graduate of The New School’s Riggio Writing and Democracy program and holds an M.A. in Media Studies from the university’s Schools of Public Engagement.
