Biography

Susan Cinoman is a playwright and screenwriter whose work is published and produced internationally. She began as a comedy writer and performer in the all woman comedy group, “The Soubrettes,” in Philadelphia.   

  For television, Susan created the recurring character of Miss Cinoman on the ABC hit, "The Goldbergs," and continues to contribute to write and contribute to both "The Goldbergs, " and its 90's Spin-Off  "Schooled." ​

   Stage productions include,  “Gin and Bitters”  and "Cinoman and Rebeck" both produced Off Broadway by Miranda Theatre Company.  Numerous workshop productions of plays were produced at The Ensemble Studio Theatre, Naked Angels, Creative Voices and The Cherry Lane Theatre in NYC.  Awards include: Guilford Performing Arts Award in Drama, Maxwell Anderson Playwrights Award, Best Connecticut Filmmaker, New England Film and Video Fest Best Narrative Feature, Winner International London Screenwriter Award, Elly Playwrighting Award, Gulfshore Playhouse New Play Series
