As the National Social Media Manager for the Future Is Female Festival, Sarah along with her colleagues, created a ten minute play festival that took place in over fifteen cities in North America. She also wrote and performed her piece, IT WOULD HAVE TO BE A GIRL, with the FIFF at Chicago Dramatists. Sarah was recently awarded the John Cauble Award at KCACTF Region 4 for her one act play, NORTH WIND. Staged Readings include: NORTH WIND at the Hollins New Play Festival, District Dramatists, and Rapid Lemon Productions at Motor House, Baltimore; UNSPOKEN: Hollins New Play Festival; THE WOMAN QUESTION and YOU’D BE SO MUCH PRETTIER IF YOU with the Women’s Performance Workshop, Strand Theater, Baltimore. Sarah was awarded a Non-Equity Jeff Nomination for her performance in SAVAGE IN LIMBO by John Patrick Shanley with Inn Town Theater Company in Chicago and trained with Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse. She has a BS in Theatre from Illinois State University, is currently an MFA candidate in Playwriting at Hollins University, as well as, a proud member of the Dramatists Guild of America.
