Biography

Pierre Sutton Jr. is the co-producer and writer for the adult animated series Furious and Fat Cat. His play, FATHER AND SON, was named as a semi-finalist for the 2018 Arts in the Armed Forces (AITAF) Bridge Award. In addition, Pierre is the author of Soul Rebuttals, a book of poems and short stories. He served as the Poetry Chairman for the National Juneteenth Observance Foundation from 2002 through 2006. Finally, Pierre attended the UCLA Professional Screenwriting Program in 2011, is a member of the Playwrights Center, co-founder of Griot Gang Entertainment, and founder of Genius Child Productions.

An estranged father and son are forced to confront their unresolved issues, and addictions on the eve of the father receiving a kidney transplant from his son. However, when a devastating family secret is unearthed its effects could be both damaging and insurmountable.
