Mary Supley is a composer and writer.
Biography

Mary Supley is a composer and writer. She co-wrote the book, music, and lyrics for the ten-minute musicals “Arson at the B&B” and “One Germany” and for the one-act musical “Recipe for Marriage”. She also wrote the short plays “Non-essential” and “Not Really”. She is an Associate Member of the Dramatists Guild.

Mary has performed as a storyteller and produced shows for Better Said Than Done, Northern Virginia’s premier storytelling troupe. She also teaches workshops in the art of storytelling. Her true, personal story “Lucky” was published in the anthology Roar: True Tales of Women Warriors.

While a student at Georgetown University, Mary was active in the Mask and Bauble Dramatic Society and Nomadic Theatre. She was nominated for Outstanding Student in Performing Arts and received an honorable mention award.

In addition to performing in college and community theater productions, Mary was the vocal director for a production of Working and costume designer for shows at Georgetown University and the French Embassy in Washington, DC. She also designed and constructed props for the short film “As Time Goes By”.

Mary has sung in school and community choirs and as a backing vocalist in rock bands.
