Ultimately, they conclude they have nothing if they don't have each other, and the sacred $50 bet from decades ago keeps the brothers tethered to their past.

Half siblings Georgia Paiye and Michael Appel struggle to come of age in a home their mother shares with both a husband and an ex-husband. As Georgia seeks her place in the world, Michael seems bent on tearing everything down.
