A new verse translation of "The Misanthrope." Based on Moliere's original rhymed couplets in Alexandrines, "I Hate Everyone" is set in the swampy politics of contemporary Washington, DC. The title character's loathing of hypocrisy and lies (and fake news) is a perfect match for Moliere's scathing satire.

Divided into 2 acts, the play runs 95 minutes, not including intermission. The cast features 8 principal roles (5M, 3W), and 3 smaller parts that can be doubled. (The play recently had a reading at BU Playwrights' Theatre.)
