Successes

"Hey Siri" my full length drama about what happens when three lonely people living in a midwestern city turn to their iPhones for salvation, was produced as part of the Borderlight Festival in Cleveland, Ohio from July 21 to the 23rd. It was directed by Michael Oatman and featured Daryl Tatum, Chelsea Anderson, Lynna Metrisin and Michelle Broome. 

My short "Let the Good Times" was produced as part of Dobama Theatres "GYM Shorts" Festival of New Plays on June 16, 17, & 18th. Directed by Syrmylin Cartwright and featuring Joyce Lindsey.

Mary E. Weems, Ph.D. is the recipient of the 2015 Cleveland Arts Prize for Literature for her full length drama MEAT about the Anthony Sowell murders on Imperial Avenue in her hometown. For more information about Mary, visit her website at www.maryeweems.org
