Georgie, Gail, and Emma have taken justice into their own hands by killing the abusive boyfriend of their friend Tina. This is the morning after the murder.
Siblings Angie and Ethan Mosley trek out into the forest in their home state of New Hampshire to bury their newly-deceased father in the old Hitchcock mining prospect. They encounter the new property owner, Christina Bonchamp, whose pretentious mannerisms are initially off-putting and suspicious. Together the three unravel their understandings of family, love, and death.
A Zoom play about five friends keeping in touch over quarantine, even as one of them begins to have paranormal problems in real life.
DEUS IMMINENTI consists of short plays and monologues that explore the weirdest corners of Catholic theology. DEUS posits that friendship is the driving divine force in the universe, and all other cosmology are quirky complications. In DEUS, party girls have visions of the Virgin Mary, a mechanic gets leprosy, a nun confronts a soul in Purgatory, and many more characters live out the extraordinary reality of ordinary doctrine.
Successes
My play 1 Peter 4:3 is receiving a workshop and reading with Melancholics Anonymous. It will be performed as a staged reading on December 15th, 2023 at Black Forest Inn in Minneapolis at 7:00pm.
Vigilantes was produced at the University of Arkansas on 8/27/23 and 8/29/23 for an MFA Directing class, directed by Sarah Behrend-Wilcox.
