Ex-spouses Marty and Kay sit together for a last conversation. Marty, afflicted with a terminal illness, has decided to be euthanized. He had requested that his ex-wife Kay, whom he hasn’t spoken with for several years, to be with him during the procedure. In the hour before he is to die, they talk – about shared memories, lessons learned, the possibility of life after death, their failed relationship and their regrets. Kay attempts to broker a reconciliation between Marty and their son, Matt.
