Biography

I’m a playwright, screenwriter, and teacher based in Brooklyn, NY. I have been produced or workshopped at the Los Angeles Theatre Center, Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre, Cherry Lane Theatre, Ophelia Theater, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Theater for the New City, and The Tank. My recent works include King Lesbian (Workshop: Los Angeles Theater Center), 3-Body Problem (Workshop: Last Frontier Theatre Conference), Painters (Scratch Night at Theater for the New City; Staged Workshop at Chelsea Studios), Ostropol (Workshop: Rattlestick Playwrights Theater), ClassPass (Nuyorican Poets Café), Ten Words, and The art of the deal. I have assisted at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Warner Bros, Braven Films, and Killer Films. I currently work as a writer's assistant on Steven Soderbergh's new HBO drama, Mosaic. I am a recipient of the NYU Jewish Studies Grant, a member of The Civilians’ Field Research Team, and a proud member of the Dramatists Guild. I hold a BA from NYU Gallatin.
