HOW TO FLY IN YOUR DREAMS
(One act play.) Inspired by the “Little Nemo in Slumberland” comic strips of Winsor McKay, this is the story of Nemo, who dreams himself into Slumberland at the request of Somnus, Lord of Slumberland. Oomp, an imp, helps Nemo begin his journey, and along the way Nemo will meet many fascinating characters, including Midori (a green kangaroo), Pokoko (a jester), and Cheecaumo (a fairy). His ultimate mission will be to save Somnus and his daughter the Dream Princess from the evil of Phobetor (ruler of the Nightmare Realm) and his minions Nyx and Erebus. Hopefully Nemo will find the courage… and the ability to fly in his dreams… to defeat the forces of nightmare before it’s too late!
