Nocturnal

Three high school freshmen—Cisco, Ryker, and Rolly—sneak out in the middle of the night on a revenge mission to undermine the senior prank. But Cisco's childhood friend Amelia has other plans for the trio. With pride and reputation at stake, the four teenagers escalate a game of Dare to dangerous levels, exposing the group's underlying tensions and testing their loyalties. Nocturnal is a fast-paced, highly physical drama about status, relational aggression, and gender identity among teenage boys. It is the one-act companion play to Nasty, available from Dramatic Publishing. Developed at the New Visions / New Voices residency at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
