Synopsis

In the 1980’s, a group of teens formed a sound that no one had ever heard, and a brotherhood that couldn’t be broken. After the funeral of beloved member Frankie, the surviving members of legendary Hip-Hop R&B group, The Force MD’s take a musical journey through their past joys and sorrows. From performing on the deck of the Staten Island Ferry to sold out shows with icons of the 80’s, The Force MD’s relive their determination to make everyone remember their borough! Legends of the Forgotten Borough is the true story of the legendary group The Force MD’s, who created music blending Hip-Hop, R&B and Doo-Wop while on the streets of Staten Island and brought it straight into America’s heart.Please note: Legends of the Forgotten Borough is inspired by the story of the Force MD’s. Some of the events and images portrayed are fictional. Some names have been changed and characters have been added.
