“You should think of your script as what represents you. If you haven’t met the people you are sending your play to, your script is their first impression of you." - Haley Finn, Associate Artistic Director, The Playwrights' Center

With deadlines looming, is it time to submit your play? In this seminar, begin to understand some guidelines of how your script should look on the page. Come and hear from PWC Member Sam Graber, a self-titled "Submitting Playwright", on the best practices in formatting your script. While there is no one way to do it, there are some standards that might be good to know as you submit and submit and...submit.

This is the seminar for you if:

  • You want to prepare your script for "proper" theatrical format
  • You don't know where to begin or you're curious about your own format
  • You'd like to hear about the formatting style of a fellow playwright

PostScript: Sam's new play mONSTER, about the beginnigs of the world wide web, will have it's world premiere with Swandive Theatre this fall at the Southern Theater.

Playwrights of all experience levels welcome.
