Waiting for Superman is a play about four brothers, Antonio, Jaquan, Deshawn, and Kendrick, who live in a world where young Black people from The Hood are dying from an unknown disease that only infects them. Set at a bus stop, Kendrick, the youngest brother, believes they are waiting for their father "Superman," but the reality is that they are waiting for Kendrick to die. The play explores racial caste systems and police brutality.
