A chance for members to get together and read plays informally
Join us from 5-7 p.m. Central one Sunday every month in person, online, or by phone for Member Open Play!
This get-together is open to Playwrights’ Center members who want their work read; nonmembers can read, listen, or contribute to the discussion.
The PWC does not hire actors or line up readers; the readers will be selected from those in attendance. Full length, one acts, short plays, drafts, final works--all will be considered. Each evening is limited to two hours total. A member must participate once as a reader or participant before his or her writing can be read at a gathering. Virtual member participation is limited to six individuals per session and spots are filled in order of expressed interest.
Please contact Hannah Joyce-Hoven at firstname.lastname@example.org or (612) 332-7481 x123 with any questions about this program or to get instructions for joining the event virtually.
If you’re joining in person, feel free to let Hannah know you’re coming, or just show up! We meet in the downstairs conference room at the Playwrights' Center.
