“A story should have a beginning, a middle, and an end, but not necessarily in that order” – Jean-Luc Godard
In this online class, we’ll explore one of a playwright’s key super-powers: the ability to bend space and time. We’ll look at classic Aristotelian structures, plays that run backwards, plays that leap across time and space, and plays that fold in on themselves like origami. We’ll crack open the structure of our own work so that we can find the best order for our stories.
Participants join online through their webcams using a program called GoTo Meeting (using PWCs account). There will be a brief tutorial for first-time online participants. Contact Hannah with questions: hannahj@pwcenter.org or 612-332-7481 x123
